- Anonymous User ID: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a unique identifier for your device. This does not contain any personal information.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting purposes.
- Crash Reports: Technical data about app crashes via Firebase Crashlytics to improve app stability.
- Usage Statistics: Game progress, scores, and achievements stored locally on your device.
2.2 Information You Provide
- Flashcards: Words and phrases you save are stored locally on your device using SQLite.
- Game Progress: Your game history and statistics are saved locally.
- Multiplayer Data: When you play multiplayer games, your game state is temporarily stored in Firebase Realtime Database.
2.3 Purchase Information
- In-App Purchases: Purchase transactions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store your payment information.
- Subscription Status: We verify your subscription status through Apple/Google to provide premium features.

We use the collected information to:

5. Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage: Most of your data (flashcards, game history, preferences) is stored locally on your device and never leaves your device unless you choose to use multiplayer features.
- Cloud Storage: Multiplayer game data is temporarily stored in Firebase and automatically deleted after the game session ends.
- Encryption: All data transmitted to our servers is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols.
- Anonymous Authentication: We use anonymous authentication, which means we cannot identify you personally.
6. Data Retention
- Local Data: Remains on your device until you delete the app or clear app data.
- Multiplayer Data: Automatically deleted from Firebase servers after the game session is completed.
- Crash Reports: Retained for 90 days for troubleshooting purposes.
7. Children's Privacy
Our app is designed to be educational and suitable for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app uses anonymous authentication and does not require any personal information to function.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your locally stored data through the app
- Delete your data by uninstalling the app or clearing app data
- Opt out of crash reporting by not using the app
- Request information about data we collect

We do NOT:

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, as we use Firebase (Google) infrastructure for data storage and processing. Firebase operates globally and may store and process data in various countries. Google (Firebase's provider) implements appropriate security safeguards and complies with applicable data protection regulations. We rely on Firebase/Google's security measures and compliance frameworks to protect your data during international transfers.
