By accessing or using the Word Sense Master mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Word Sense Master is an educational game designed to help users improve their English vocabulary through interactive and entertaining gameplay. This is a gamified learning app, NOT a test preparation course or language certification program.

Important: This app is designed for entertainment and supplemental learning. We make NO guarantees about exam results, test scores, language proficiency, or academic performance.
This app is recommended for users aged 8 and above for optimal learning experience. While the app is rated 4+ and available to younger users, content and features are designed with ages 8 and up in mind. Parental guidance is recommended for all users under 18, and optional parental controls are available to help manage app usage.
Word Sense Master does not require user registration or login. All users access the app anonymously through Firebase Anonymous Authentication. To manage trial periods and premium subscriptions, we collect only your device identifier. We do not collect personal information such as name, email, or password.
All payment processing is handled directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. Subscription management, cancellations, and refunds are processed entirely through your app store account.
Word Sense Master offers premium subscription plans with enhanced features. Subscription details:
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You will be charged through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account.
We offer a 7-day free trial for new users with full access to premium features. After the 7-day trial period ends:
Important: The trial does NOT automatically convert to a paid subscription. You must explicitly choose to subscribe after the trial ends.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refund requests must be made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable. We do not directly process refunds. Refund eligibility is subject to the store's refund policy.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
To protect the App and our users from abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access, we implement Firebase App Check and other security measures:
By using this App, you acknowledge and accept these security measures. If you attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent these protections, your access to the App may be permanently terminated without notice or refund.
All content in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, software, and data compilations, is the property of Word Sense Master or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Users can add custom words, phrases, and phrasal verbs to create personal flashcard study lists. You provide only the word or phrase itself - all educational content (definitions, example sentences, images, and audio) is generated by AI. Your personal word lists are stored locally on your device and in your private Firebase account solely for syncing across your devices. We do not share, view, or use your personal word lists for any purpose other than providing the flashcard study feature to you.
User Responsibility for Modified Data: While the App includes automated content filtering and validation systems, users who manually modify their local database or backup files (.wsm archives) and import modified data bypass these safeguards. Any inappropriate content resulting from user manipulation of local storage or backup files is solely the user's responsibility, not ours. We are not liable for any content that users deliberately add by circumventing the App's normal operation.
The App uses third-party artificial intelligence services (including but not limited to OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Mistral AI) to generate educational content, feedback, and suggestions. Important disclaimers:
We continuously work to improve content filtering and validation, but AI-generated content remains the responsibility of the respective AI service providers.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Word Sense Master and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses resulting from:
As a solo developer utilizing third-party AI services, we cannot be held responsible for content generated by AI models beyond our direct control. All AI-generated content is subject to the terms and limitations of the respective AI service providers.

All payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and conditions. For any payment-related issues, refunds, or billing questions, please contact your app store's support directly. We do not process payments or refunds.
For any other questions, concerns, or issues with the App (including but not limited to app usage, content, features, or technical support), these Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Please contact us at info@wordsensemaster.com and we will work to resolve them.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Word Sense Master regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
